Summary: Everything's Perfect but the Insoles
Comment: After reading a review about the new Asics Gel-Stratus, I immediately went online in search of a pair as they looked to be a perfect replacement for my previous pair of shoes. The purchase went smoothly and the shoes arrived in no time. After trying them on and walking around in them for a couple of days to break them in, I noticed a slight strain in the inside of the back of my knee developing. As I began to run in them, the pain got worse, so I decided to examine the shoe. What I found was that the insole was paper-thin cardboard. I immediately replaced them with a pair of Dr. Scholls inserts and have loved the shoes ever since. The weight is incredibly light, the shoe itself is very breathable, and it has an excellent overall feel to it. I would definitely recommend this product, but also with a pair of good, supportive inserts.
