Comment: I purchased two of these thumb drives as gifts for Christmas. I didn't try them ahead of time as they were in containers that would have had to have been destroyed to get them out. So I can't tell you how they work. I trust the name Kingston, however, and no one has complained thus far.

Comment: Most of my friends who bemoan their PC experiences would be well-advised to use one of these. Finally getting into Digital Photography made the 8 GB size necessary. I miss a pilot light blinking when active, but price trumps that.
