Summary: You get to see what happens and what is supposed to be happening.
Comment: This is the best illustrated guide I've seen on the subject of yoga. The illustration are extremely clear and more importantly, helpful. You get to see what happens and what is supposed to be happening. I can't imagine doing yoga without having this book around as great reference. In fact I find it more helpful even than videos. With videos I'm always trying to follow along instead of paying attention to my own body and thoughts, which is the point right?

Summary: Too scientific for me
Comment: I think this is a great book if you have a medical background - I'm just a yoga practicioner and wanted to know which muscles I'm using, what to pay attention to etc., I guess that's not really what the book is meant for.
